Introducing…Lauren Bury

Here we are pleased to introduce you to Lauren Bury…

Q. Hi Lauren! What’s your role at Baypoint?

Hello, I’m Head of Community Engagement and Head Coach here at Baypoint.

Q. So, what is “Creation Station”?

The Creation Station Baypoint is centred around the delivery of Art and Craft sessions to children, young people and adults through weekly, monthly and termly sessions. We are an award winning art and craft franchise.

We deliver creative classes, afterschool clubs on and off site, events & arty parties.

Q. What can you offer to schools?

Our afterschool clubs aim to give children and young people new and exciting opportunities to be creative, explore and develop.

Our bespoke programme can suit all ages. Art and craft activities can help support a child’s mental health and wellbeing, reduce stress and help maintain focus. Our sessions are tailored to suit children and young people’s individual needs, inclusive of SEND.

The children and young people will be able to get creative, make different artworks and build on communication skills and build friendships. Our programme of activities include painting, drawing sculpture, team building, creative challenges, sketching, model making, collage, printing, slime making and sensory play activities.

We bring everything that’s needed – you don’t have to manage any storage, clearing away, planning, purchasing or staff training. This enables you and your team to continue to focus on your core activities.

Q. OK, so if I’m a teacher, how do I get to know more?

Take a look a dedicated web section or email me.

Q. Do you do kids’ parties?

We do! We run children’s parties to suit all interests. Whether its football, arts & crafts, slime, dodgeball, basketball. You name it, we’ll deliver it!

Q. What about half-term camps?

We run different half-term camps and HAF programmes (holiday, activities & food).

Our holiday camps tend to be activity specific, such as football, basketball and arts & crafts, and run over half term holidays, 9-3pm.

The HAF programme is free for children who receive benefit related free school meals. The programme has enabled us to support hundreds of children and their families by providing sport activities, art and crafts, health, wellbeing, and nutrition talks, signposting for families and hot meals.

Q. Do you do adults’ parties? What are they…how do we sign up!?

As above with our kids parties, we can cater for adult parties! Whether that’s an creative party, making wine charms and a glass of bubbly or hiring the ballroom with a DJ. We can provide it.

You can email our Events team who will be able to provide you with all information you need.

Q. What are your plans for Christmas?

Spending it with family & friends and relaxing before the new year!
