We have an extensive range of classes varying from high intensity, to slow and relaxing. Our class timetable has been designed to ensure our members and guests have access to all genres of class; providing a balance that will suit all.

We have an extensive range of classes varying from high intensity, to slow and relaxing. Our class timetable has been designed to ensure our members and guests have access to all genres of class; providing a balance that will suit all.

Each gym instructor delivering classes for Baypoint are fully qualified and experienced at modifying classes to suit the individual needs of all; ensuring each participant receives a fulfilling workout during every class.

Yoga Stretch


Strengthens your ability to focus, reduces high-stress levels, enhances your ability to be in the moment.

Having a limber body makes you feel more confident and happy. You will feel more connected to your body. You can reward yourself with stretching after an intense workout. You feel more comfortable in your body, instead of feeling tight all the time. Helps you relax after a hard workout. Reduces muscle soreness.

Body Pump


Body Pump is a fast-paced workout; specifically designed to help you get lean, toned and fit. It uses a combination of motivating music, our own fantastic instructors and great moves to help you achieve your targets more efficiently than working out on your own.

Full Body Blitz


This class is a fusion of all-over body conditioning, cardio and abs; set out in an interval-style training session. The use of motivating music, kettlebells and dumbbells make it packed with variety and has a something to enjoy for everyone!

Boxfit


Boxfit uses the principles and exercises that real boxers use to get super fit, but has been adapted to ensure your session is safe, achievable and effective. The class uses a variety of different training styles; from pad work to circuits and HiiT style sessions

Yoga


Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. Slow movements and deep breathing increases blood flow and warms up muscles, whilst holding a pose can build strength.

You may feel increased mental and physical energy, a boost in alertness and enthusiasm and fewer negative feelings after getting into a routine of practicing yoga.

Pilates


Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasises proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

Low Impact Aerobics


The ideal workout for those who often suffer with back pain. Aerobic exercise can help relieve back pain by decreasing stiffness and improving blood flow to the spinal structures, increasing the amount of nutrients reaching the spine.

Low-impact exercise can elevate the heart rate without jarring the spine and worsening back pain.

Introduction to Badminton


Total body workout. Whilst you’re lunging, diving, running and getting your heart pumping, playing a game of badminton can help you burn around 450 calories an hour!

The varied movements provide a powerful cardio workout by engaging the entire body, including the hamstrings, quads, calves and your core.

Totally Shredded


Totally Shredded is an equipment-free Combat inspired, HiiT class to drum & bass music which incorporates punching, kicking, cardio and conditioning drills.

It also includes partner-based plyometric drills and abs, butt and core conditioning for a total body workout.

Kettlebells

Spin


The pace and speed will vary throughout the workout; sometimes requiring break-neck speed, and other times pedalling from a slow, standing position.

Using a stationary bike; a height restriction of 5ft applies. Your instructor will lead you through a variety of drills to music which will include hill climbs, sprints, interval training, plus much more! This class improves cardiovascular fitness and stamina. Suitable for all levels.

Vinyasa Yoga


Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterised by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another – seamlessly - using breathing techniques. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga, it can be confused with “power yoga“.

Half-hour Circuits


30-minute workout includes 20 stations; split between 10 machines and 10 stepping blocks. Participants 12 reps per machine, or continue the step routine for 60 seconds, before rotating to the next station.

Fight Club


Fight Club is a 60-minute 'contact' cardio kickboxing class; meaning you get to punch, kick, elbow and knee, heavy bags, speed bags, hand pads and more!

Fight Club combines all the aspects of fitness including resistance training, cardio intervals, core strength and stability; all infused with a kickboxing flavour.

Legs, Bums and Tums


This class focuses on technique and toning rather than intensity; targeting specific problem areas.

A short, aerobic warm-up may be included followed by a series of exercises for legs, bums and abdominal areas. Suitable for all levels.

Zumba


Performed primarily to Latin American dance music, Zumba is an aerobic fitness programme featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance.

Clubercise


You'll work up a sweat in a darkened room with disco lights; exercising to a soundtrack of club anthems from 90’s classics to the latest chart hits.

Clubercise routines are a mix of dance, toning and combat. They are easy-to-follow and always have high or low impact options to suit all fitness levels. You'll use a pair of our trademark flashing LED glow sticks throughout the class. These are both reusable and recyclable, so much more environmentally friendly than the single-use ones.

It's all about fun, not about perfection. Take it to your level, keep it simple and enjoy the music!
