Jason and Rhys took on our new Under 7's squad for next season and started their first training sessions in March. With Jason returning to coaching after a long absence and Rhys beginning his coaching career hopefully they will prove to have a nice balance. The numbers attending from the start has been good with 17 attending on one of the first few weeks, after Easter and numerous bank holidays the squad at present have a regular 12 players turning up. Whilst team discipline is important to both coaches, which has been set from the start to avoid disruption the emphasis has been on fun and enjoying the game in these early stages. A great group of children who have shown signs of good potential already as we start to prepare for some friendlies ready for next season. They have also now been joined by Ky as a further coach as the squad looks to increase its numbers over the coming weeks. Thanks also to the parents for their support so far and help with sponsership....a good start and we look forward to seeing what the future brings for this new team.
