Wellbeing Through Sport, delivered by Baypoint, is a unique set of programs aimed at nurturing positive mental and physical health and wellbeing for children across Key Stage 1 and 2. Children engage in fun, physical activity and reflective practice sessions which teach them the social and emotional life skills they need to learn, grow, and develop, so they can cope with whatever life throws at them.
We will cover areas such as empathy, conflict resolution, assertiveness and emotional awareness. Children will not only develop the core life skills, but also complete a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity.
Every child’s progress is monitored throughout the program using reflective task sheets provided at the end of each lesson. Teachers themselves can be equipped to to deliver the program - as part of the RSE, PHSE or PE Curriculum - to teach children important skills. Teachers receive lesson plans, reflective task sheets and online CPD training. Also, our own experienced Baypoint Education & Wellbeing coaches are fully trained to deliver the program, as needed.
Since the pandemic, young people’s mind and bodies have been negatively impacted and we want to provide the tools and skills they need now and for later in life.
